Hand-carved NZ Pounamu
Hassle-free returnsInspired by Te Pone, a species of fish found in Tokelau, this artwork takes form through the hoe (paddle) design, a symbol deeply significant to the Tokelauan people.
Embraced by a Manaia, the piece weaves together Foua’s Tokelauan and Māori heritage, honouring the connection between his two cultures.
Part of our Ngā Tamariki o Tangaroa collection.

The artist behind this creationFoua’s path to becoming a carver is a story of unexpected beginnings and cultural exploration.
