The silver fern is one of New Zealand's most iconic plants. It has thin tightly curled fronds which open into a dense fern leaf over time. You see it littering our native bushscapes and can tell it apart from other flora because the underside of its' leaves are silver. This design is an ode to the silver fern.

New Zealand Pounamu Fern Leaf Necklace
“Hi Guys, Normally I do not do reviews/surveys, the Necklace was bought as a Christmas present for our daughter in law so it is more a question of will she like it. As for the above star rating we would give it five stars.
Regards
Chris”

The silver fern is an iconic symbol of New Zealand. Recognisable for the beautiful silver underside of its fronds, it represents strength, resilience, and the spirit of new beginnings.
Luke Gardiner
The artist behind this creationRaised on the wild and rugged West Coast of New Zealand, Luke still calls Hokitika home. A self-taught artist, he finds his inspiration in nature and has been recreating its beauty in greenstone for over a decade. Luke carefully assesses each piece of jade before deciding which design will best suit. Flawlessness, colour, inner light and visual impact are all important, but his gift for retaining the ‘essence’ and ‘feeling which the raw jade holds, takes his work to a different plane.
