This carving is known as a 'triple' twist because it twists into itself three times. The bottom of it is rounded and fat, and as it weaves itself upward it becomes progressively thinner. This 'balance' is an important part of its design and gives it a fine feminine feel. Like many of our other designs it comes in a bright 'glassy' green and a deep jet black. The green jade is from the wilds of Canada and the black is from a remote Western Australia town.
