Artist - Paddy Cooper

Carving only New Zealand pounamu as well as New Zealand native wood, Paddy was first taught carving by Māori; his teachers have all been Māori and so much of his work has strong Māori influence. He considers all his pieces to be Taonga, or treasures. Paddy is a sixth generation New Zealander, of Irish, English, and Indian descent.
