Privacy and Security

All information submitted to mountainjade.co.nz is processed and stored using secure socket layer (SSL) software, which is among the best software available for secure transactions. SSL encrypts all of your personal information so that it cannot be read as the information travels on the Internet. As an alternative, you can always fax your order to us on +64 7 349 8239.

If you register at our web site we will need your name, address, telephone details and e-mail address. Only designated Mountain Jade staff may access this information, and you may have the right to inspect and update the details at any time. Mountain Jade does not share customer details with third parties without express permission.

When you place an order we will also need to know your credit card type, credit card number, the name on the card and the expiration date, to process your order. Our membership registration is free of charge, and you are under no obligation to purchase. We may use your purchase history to help determine what else might be of interest to you.

As a registered member, you will periodically receive e-mail updates about Mountain Jade’s services, products and website information. If you would rather not receive this information, you can easily unsubscribe by replying to the e-mail or clicking on the subject heading and typing “Unsubscribe”

Currency

International transactions via mountainjade.co.nz are carried out in $NZ and processed though the international banking system and exclude New Zealand Goods and Services Tax (GST) of 15%. Your final bill will be determined by the exchange rate applied by your credit card company at the time the charge is recorded, plus any fees applied by your credit card provider.

For an indication of how currencies convert to NZ dollars or another currency, please use our currency converter. These rates are indicative only.

Payment Process

It is strict policy of Mountain Jade that all online purchases must be paid for prior to shipment of the products; no matter what the value.

Mountain Jade accepts MasterCard, Visa, and Internet banking.

Once you have placed your order you will receive e-mail confirmation stating the total amount and cost of your order. This will include shipping and insurance.

Upon confirmed receipt of your payment into the Mountain Jade bank account your goods will then be shipped.

Availability

Stock has been specifically allocated for mountainjade.co.nz and stock levels are adjusted automatically. Any item that sells out may be available via back order. Queries about back orders should be directed via the Contact Us page or Ph: +64 7 349 3968.

Prices of products, services, delivery and other charges displayed on this website are current at the time of issue, but these may change at any time.  The availability of our products and services may change from time to time.

In the event a particular product is sold out Mountain Jade reserves the right to either process partial orders or make refunds, or return orders in their entirety. Mountain Jade will retain full title to any property in the products your order until payment in full has been confirmed.

Colour

Due to the natural nature of Jade each piece has a unique colour, so there may be a difference in the shade of green in the finished product, to that shown on our website.  If it is important to you please state your perference , in the comments box when ordering, and we will endeavour to match your preference.

Ordering Goods

Orders can only be placed by people or organizations with full legal capacity to engage in a binding contract. Any order placed by you via mountainjade.co.nz is an offer by you to purchase a particular product or service for the price(including delivery and other charges) specified on mountainjade.co.nz at the time you place your order.

Mountain Jade reserves the right to accept or reject your offer for any reason, including, without limitation, the unavailability of any product description posted on this website, an error in your order or a failure in your payment.

Your ability to purchase products and services from mountainjade.co.nz may be terminated at any time by Mountain Jade without notice.

Order Notification

Upon receipt of your order, Mountain Jade will issue you with an e-mail notification shortly afterwards listing the items ordered, the total product and shipping charges, delivery address, estimated shipping times and shipping carrier. This will not include any customs duties, local taxes or bank fees. This is a confirmation that we have received your order, not a confirmation of acceptance or processing.

Shipping

Orders are dispatched from Mountain Jade during normal New Zealand business hours. Orders are not valid until accepted by Mountain Jade.

Due to the valuable nature of Mountain Jade products, we must be able to leave your parcel with someone at the address you have indicated, unless you have first provided us with special instructions. A signature will be required upon receipt.

Products will be deemed to have been received by you if accepted by a person at your nominated delivery address, or if your special instructions are complied with. Insurance applies only until the order is delivered to your nominated address.

Shipping details must include a street address and daytime telephone number. Your order cannot be dispatched if these details are missing.

Mountain Jade reserves the right to limit quantities and may discontinue accepting orders at any time. Mountain Jade reserves the right accept of reject orders in any combination or option(s) it determines to be in its best interest.

New Zealand Delivery

All orders placed within New Zealand , and or for delivery within New Zealand, will include Goods and Services Tax of 15%.

Region 3: Rest of World ( South America, Africa, Middle East, etc)

*Prices shown include Packaging, Postage and Insurance costs.
Packages shipped using Mountain Jade’s international option usually arrive within 14 working days. You may be subject to import duties and taxes levied by your country or other overseas authority once a shipment reaches your country, which are not included in our prices.

You may also be required to pay additional charges for customs clearance. You should contact your local customs office for further information on applicable duties taxes restrictions and fees.

**Should you require your purchase to be shipped via Fedex or other shipping provider please contact us directly.

Customs Sales and Duty Tax

It is the responsibility of the person purchasing to be aware of the Sales and Duty Tax regulations for the country where their purchase is being delivered.

As each country has different regulations Mountain Jade is not responsible for any payments for Sales and Duty Tax, which the parcel may incur upon arrival.

Insurance

All international deliveries are subject to an insurance charge which has been included in the International Delivery charges.

Cancellations

You may cancel your order at any time prior to acceptance and processing, but please note that orders for products that held in stock will be processed immediately and cannot be cancelled.
You can cancel your order for any item in back order status.

Returns, Replacements, Exchanges

If for any reason you are not satisfied with your purchase, please advise us by e-mail within 5 working days of receipt of goods. You must return the goods together with your receipt within 30 days of invoice to enable us to process a refund. Unfortunately delivery and handling charges are not refundable. For any queries, please e-mail sales@mountainjade.co.nz or phone Mountain Jade on +64 7 349 3968. Mountain Jade will not accept partial returns nor will it issue partial refunds. You must return the entire order, not part of it, to receive a refund.

To return your product, use the reverse side of your invoice to let us know why you decided to return your item(s) and your desired resolution (replacement, refund, or exchange) for each item.

Please address your package to Mountain Jade, 43 Depot Street, Rotorua, New Zealand, +64 7 349 3968. For your protection, we strongly recommend that you return your order by insured mail and keep the receipt for your records. Mountain Jade is not responsible for lost return shipments. All refunds will be credited in New Zealand dollars.

Jurisdiction

Mountain Jade is based in Rotorua, New Zealand and operates within normal laws of commerce under New Zealand business law. The normal laws of international commerce apply to international transactions, provided that any contract made between you and Mountain Jade shall be construed, applied and shall take effect as a contract made in accordance with the laws of New Zealand and will be governed by and must be performed according to that law.
